The Haddock with their home made Ranch sauce was excellent, the fried cabbage delightful, and the baked sweet potato, I mean the sweet potato canoe, will leave you satisfied, AND smiling! Try the pumpkin roll for a real treat.

This is a new restaurant in New Cumberland. It's right above Gray Water Ops silk screen printing shop, across the street from the post office and beside the west shore theater. Excellent home cooked food and the prices are very reasonable. The portions won't leave you hungry either! Had the hand carved turkey with cranberry sauce and mayo, lettuce and tomato. Good home cooked food, great price and portions. I will eat here often as I work in downtown New Cumberland!

Cool little hidden gem in New Cumberland. Went to breakfast one Saturday morning. Crowded but no wait. Awesome service with prompt coffee refills which is extremely important to us :). The food was delicious and the price was on point.

Cute place! Great breakfast! I would give 5 stars but I had to get up and get my own condiments and ask for things a few times and we were only people there. Still, I hope this place makes it!

Had the nicest waiter ever....fantastic service. The atmosphere is very warm. The sourdough french toast and sweet potato hash were excellent. Thanks so much!

Go there. I had the lunch menu, a flat iron steak salad. Good crisp greens, steak tender and done right. Home made bleu cheese dressing, buffalo chicken soup and home made peach pie with a marshmallow cream topping. So good.

Great meal after a long day. Kris tool great care of us and the earlier reviews were correct. Meat loaf parm was very tasty and the report on the pot roast was terrific as well. Pot roast cut with a butter knife. All in all, a great experience.

Excellent food. I had the grilled chicken parmesan; the chicken was perfectly cooked, excellent sauce. The grilled bread that came with it would have been better if it was toasted with butter. i have also had lunch here, and it was delicious as well. Looking forward to trying their breakfast!

Great atmosphere and awesome food! Two people stuffed for ten bucks. You can't beat that. Coffee, eggs, sweet potatoes, and a pancake.

Excellent food, great prices, excellent staff! Great quaint hidden spot!! I have eaten here three in the past four days. The first time I had the ham Ruben which was amazing and my friend had the handcarved turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo, also delicious. Today I had a meatloaf BLT with homemade meatloaf. I would've never thought to order it but everyone was saying how great it was, so I did, they were right! I haven't tried their breakfast yet but apparently they are open at 6am.

I should tell you that we had a terrible experience at breakfast this morning just so it isn't crowded the next time we go, but this place is awesome! The food, the coffee and the staff were all top-notch.

The Loft Eatery is a very nice place to head for breakfast (and I'm sure any other meal). It is located right on bridge street in New Cumberland, but the name is very telling. If you have trouble getting up stairs then this may not be the restaurant for you. The first time that I went we were recommended the pancakes and baked oatmeal, but quickly realized that there is really only one thing that you need to get. The baked oatmeal was outstanding, and frequently changes flavors! Whenever I am looking for a delicious breakfast to go, or a nice morning out, I head to the Loft Eatery. I hope that you enjoy it too!

Just go! Comfort food with a level of sophistication (without the snobbery) paired with personal hospitality will have you coming back for more.

I went with a friend of mine. I've always loved good home cooking. I grew up on plain meat and potatoes type food. I had the open face turkey sandwich and got the fries with gravy (on the side). The turkey was so delicious. The fries were the best I'd had in years and gravy topped everything off perfectly. You didn't get a monster plate of food, but there was more than enough to fill you up. The chocolate cake with peanut butter icing was FANTASTIC!! And the portion of cake was HUGE!!! The seating was extremely comfortable and the ambiance was very relaxing. Did I say comfortable? I highly recommend this place.
